Kidney Treatment and Transplant

Washington University transplant surgeons offer access procedures for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

They also perform kidney transplantation for adults at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and for children at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. For live donors, surgeons offer both laparoscopic and “mininephrectomy” kidney donor procedures.
